Samsung’s US page lists the FE+ resolution (2880 × 1800) for both models; the 2304 × 1440 figure for the 10.9-inch FE is from GSMArena. The Tab S10 FE’s PPI is our calculation from that resolution.

The differences that matter

1. Price

The Alexa Tablet 11 launched at $329.99 for 64GB, and Samsung lists the Galaxy Tab S10 FE at $549.99 for 128GB: a gap of about $220. Like-for-like storage narrows it a little: a 128GB Alexa Tablet 11 without lock-screen ads is $399.99, still $150 less. Samsung tablets are often discounted, so check both prices on the day.

2. Screen

The Alexa Tablet 11’s screen is slightly bigger and sharper (276 vs about 249 PPI), which shows in small text when reading. Both run at 90Hz and use the same 16:10 shape, which suits video. Samsung quotes up to 800 nits peak brightness for the S10 FE, which helps outdoors.

3. Performance

The S10 FE’s Exynos 1580 is a newer, faster chip than the Alexa Tablet 11’s MediaTek MT8189, the same chip as Amazon’s cheaper Alexa Tablet 8, and Samsung offers a 12GB RAM model. No retail benchmarks for the Alexa Tablet 11 were published as of October 12, 2026, but launch coverage expects the Samsung to be faster. For streaming, browsing and reading you won’t notice much; for heavy games and multitasking you will.

4. Pen and note-taking

This is the biggest practical difference. The S10 FE includes an S Pen, so it’s ready for handwritten notes, annotating PDFs and sketching out of the box. Amazon lists no first-party pen for the Alexa Tablet 11 (its Pro Pen is for the 12 Pro only); only third-party pen and keyboard cases are listed.

5. Durability and storage

The S10 FE is rated IP68 against water and dust, which means it’s rated to survive being submerged in fresh water (not a chlorinated pool or the sea). The Alexa Tablet 11 is IP52, which covers light splashes and dust only. The Samsung also takes microSD cards up to 2TB; the Alexa Tablet 11 has no card slot, so choose 64GB or 128GB carefully if you download a lot of video.

6. Battery and weight

Samsung rates the S10 FE for up to 20 hours of video, against 15 hours for the Alexa Tablet 11. The Alexa is about 30 g lighter (466 g vs about 497 g).

7. Software, ads and updates

  • Alexa Tablet 11: ships with Android 16, the full Google Play Store, Alexa+ and a Kindle reading mode. Standard models show sponsored lock-screen screensavers unless you pay $20 more. Amazon says Alexa+ is free with the tablet; full Alexa+ across your devices comes with Prime or costs $19.99 a month without it (Oct 2026). Amazon hasn’t published how long the Alexa Tablets will get updates.
  • Galaxy Tab S10 FE: launched on Android 15 and is eligible for newer Android versions. It has no ads and includes Galaxy AI features such as Circle to Search and handwriting help. Launch coverage reports about seven years of updates, and Samsung UK lists security updates through April 2032 for the S10 FE+.
